Bone Broth
Ingredients
- 1 chicken (whole/organic) 
- ½ bunch of celery (top stalks and leaves) roughly chopped 
- 2 carrots chopped in half 
- 1 onion chopped in quarters 
- 2 garlic cloves peeled 
- 1 tbsp of peppercorns 
- 1 tbsp of salt (pink Himalayan or Celtic) 
- 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar 
- Water 
Method
- Slice meat off chicken (save in fridge for later use ). Or you can use a roast chicken carcass. 
- In the slow cooker place chicken bones and skin, add all remaining ingredients. 
- Add water until the slow cooker is almost full. 
- Leave slow cooker on low over night, or for a minimum of 12 hours. 
- Remove the bones, skin and veggies, and bottle up the bone broth for use in cooking, drinks etc. You can freeze it in ice cube trays for easy portioning later.
