Muesli

Ingredients

  • 1 kg of rolled oats

  • 1 cup (100 g) of shredded coconut

  • ½ cup (70 g) of sesame seeds

  • 1 cup (140 g) of pumpkin seeds

  • 1 cup (150 g) of raw almonds slivered, flaked or chopped raw

  • 1 tbsp of ground cinnamon

  • ½ cup (60 ml) of coconut oil

  • ½ to 1 cup (170-340 g) of maple syrup or honey, to your preferred sweetness

 

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 150℃ (fan-forced).

  • In a large baking tray mix all of the dried ingredients together.

  • Gently heat the oil and maple syrup or honey in a small pot for a minute or two (do not boil). Drizzle over the dried mix and toss through to coat evenly.

  • Place in preheated oven, stirring every 15 minutes or so until evenly browned or toasted as much as you want it to be.

  • Remove from the oven and cool.
